Turning commitments
into practice
Humanitarian organisations increasingly commit to participation, localisation, protection and collective action. Yet translating these commitments into operational reality remains a challenge.
People Centered works in that gap.
We support organisations, networks, donors and academic institutions in designing and facilitating participatory processes that strengthen protection outcomes, collective planning and locally grounded responses.
Our work combines strategic advisory support, facilitation and accompaniment, helping actors move from commitments and frameworks to practical action and measurable change.
01
Accompaniment for a collective
Plan of Action
Supporting organisations, communities and local actors through a structured, participatory process that leads to a community-validated Plan of Action.
This accompaniment combines training, facilitation and technical guidance throughout the process, helping teams apply a people-centred approach in practice while strengthening their capacity to lead similar processes independently in the future.
Applied across more than 40 conflict-affected contexts, the approach supports communities and actors in jointly analysing threats, identifying priorities and developing collective strategies grounded in participation, protection outcomes and comparative advantage.
